
Prof. Guangsuo Yu

Biography: Guangsuo Yu, professor, doctoral supervisor, director of the Institute of Clean Coal Technology, East China University of Science and Technology. Distinguished Professor of the Yangtze River Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education, winner of the China Youth Science and Technology Award, New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education, Shanghai Shuguang Scholar, Shanghai Science and Technology Rising Star, and Shanghai Yucai Award. He has been engaged in applied basic research and engineering development of coal gasification technology for a long time. He has been authorized with more than 120 Chinese invention patents and 3 US invention patents. He has published more than 470 SCI papers in journals such as AIChE J., Chem. Eng. Sci., Chem. Eng. J., Combustion & Flame, Applied Energy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, etc., which have been cited more than 10,300 times, and 13 of them have been selected as ESI highly cited/hot papers. He was selected as a highly cited scholar in China by Elsevier in 2020 and 2022~2024. He serves as an editorial board member or guest editor of academic journals such as International Journal of Coal Science & Technology, Applied Energy, Fuel, and Scientific Reports.

Prof. Mingming Zhang
Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen
Biography: As a leading talent of ten thousand people, a national outstanding youth, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Hundred Talents Program, and a Class A talent of the Shenzhen "Peacock Plan", an expert in the National Key Science and Technology Special Expert Group of the Ministry of Science and Technology, deputy director of the Wind Energy Special Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, vice chairman of the IEEE PES New Energy Technology Subcommittee, and deputy editor in chief of "Renewable Energy", we conduct applied basic research on flow control and innovative design of large wind turbine blades, design of highly reliable wind turbines, and smart wind farms. Hosted the Ministry of Science and Technology's 863 Program, Key R&D Program, International Cooperation Projects, National Natural Science Foundation's Excellent Youth Fund, Key Fund, General Fund Projects, Chinese Academy of Sciences' "Hundred Talents Program", Leading Special Projects, etc. Published over 210 academic papers both domestically and internationally, including nearly 60 SCI indexed papers; More than 40 academic invitation reports at home and abroad; Close to 50 invention patents have been applied for or authorized. Prof. Meirong Dong
South China University of Technology
Biography: Meirong Dong, Professor, School of Electric Power Engineering, South China University of Technology. Selected as a Guangdong Provincial Young Talent in 2024, she has led 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 sub-project under a National Key R&D Program, 5 provincial-level projects, 5 enterprise collaborative projects, and 2 university-level central funding projects, while also participating in multiple national, provincial, and enterprise cooperative projects. As first author or corresponding author, she has published 55 SCI papers in authoritative journals such as Energy Conversion and Management, Fuel Processing Technology, Analytical Chemistry, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, and Journal of the Energy Institute (including 5 SCI cover articles), contributed to one English monograph, and holds over 10 authorized invention patents. She has frequently participated in domestic and international conferences for academic exchange and delivered invited presentations at major forums.
